WHAT IS STRUCTURE AND ITS IMPORTANCE?

STRUCTURE
What is structure?
Structure means the arrangement of words in a sentence, clause and phrase. Structure is very important to the learner of English language. This is because structure gives the learners the rules in which words are arranged and associate or relate to each other in the sentence.
For example:
  1. He go to school every day *
He goes to school everyday
  1. Juma eats mango week last *
Juma ate mango last week.
In order to understand well the structure of English language we must understand first the words which form the sentence, phrase and clause. These words are words which make parts of speech or word class. These are:-
1.      NOUNS
2.      PRONOUNS
3.      VERBS
4.      ADJECTIVES
5.      ADVERBS
6.      PREPOSITIONS
7.      INTERJECTIONS

8.      CONJUCTIONS
