What is philosophy?

The term Philosophy comes from two Greek words which are: Philomeans lover or friend Sophia means wisdom. Therefore, Philosophy is the pursuit or search for wisdom.
Or
Philosophy is the knowledge or ideas that help human beings to develop principles of conduct and questions about the nature of reality.
Or
Philosophy is an activity that people undertake when they seek to understand fundamental truths about themselves, the world in which they live and their relationship to the world and to each other.
