Geita Gold Mining (GGML)
Position: Underground Mine Geologist.
Number of Positions: 04
Works For: Senior Supervisor Underground Geology
Qualifications: Graduate degree in Geology.
Experience:2-3 years' experience in underground mining geology.
Purpose of the Role: The primary purpose of the role is to provide geological control and support to the underground mining operations.
Main Accountabilities:
-Complete all assigned work according to company procedures
-Identify and report hazards in the work place
-Complete underground geological mapping, sampling and core logging to a schedule approved by the Senior Supervisor Underground Geology
-Provide geological input at mine planning meetings
-Monitor .underground development and ore movement
-Complete geological interpretations from mapping and logging data
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Physical fitness to work in an underground mine environment
-Willingness to work in an underground mine environment
-Good communication skills
-Verbal and written English
-Valid Tanzanian driving license and ability to pass site driving test

-Experience in the use of Datamine (or similar geological software) is an advantage
