Universities of the West Indies is inviting applications for Mill Reef Education Grant. Antiguan citizens are eligible to apply for this grant.
The aim of the grant is to provide financial help to the Antiguan citizens.
Universities of the West Indies Established in 1948, UWI is the largest and longest standing higher education provider in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The University was originally instituted as an independent external college of the University of London.
Course Level: The Grant is available to pursue undergraduate programme.
Study Subject: Grant will be awarded in the subjects offered by the University.
Scholarship Award: The Grant will be awarded $16,000.00.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
·         Citizens or registered certificate holders of Antigua & Barbuda;
·         New or continuing students pursuing an undergraduate programme in any faculty who have not already completed a degree programme at any university.
Nationality: Antiguan citizens can apply for this grant.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English Language Requirements: Applicants must be non-native English speaking applicants.
How to Apply: Applications shall be accompanied with the following documents:
·         Transcripts;
·         One page essay on the applicant’s educational goals;
·         Two character references.
In addition to the list above, for First Year entrants:
·         UWI offer and acceptance letter
·         CAPE and CSEC Scores
